Elliot serves as Board Co-Chair and grew up in Boulder, CO. Watching his mother work in non-profit growing up, Elliot gained a strong sense for helping people. He has worked in many industries, finding ways to support and help people that lack the resources needed to experience the world. Most recently, he has made a home with the Namaste Solar Electric family and works as a Field Technician with the installation crews around the state. In his free time, Elliot enjoys international travel, winter sports, and backpacking with a drone in the summer.
Madison Lozano
Madison serves as Board Chair and grew up in Sacramento, CA, making her way to CO in 2016. She is actively studying psychology in pursuit of a better understanding of people as an aid to her efforts to be as helpful to her community as possible. Looking to create a more sustainable future for all, Madison joined Namaste Solar Electric in 2022 as the HR Recruiting Coordinator. Her love of people and those that make it a mission to help others has led her to the Namaste Solar Foundation in an effort to make an even greater impact.
Heather Kinsey
Heather serves as Board Treasurer and grew up in Western North Carolina. She studied at Appalachian State University and graduated with a B.S. double major in Appropriate Technology & Design and Building Sciences with a concentration in Architectural Technology & Design. She was the Lead Electrical Designer for Appalachian State’s ‘The Solar Homestead’ at the Solar Decathlon competition, which included an innovative bifacial solar canopy. She is passionate about creating and influencing change in the World through renewable energy and she looks forward to helping to create an accessible bridge to renewables through the Foundation.
Matt Griffin
Matt has served on the board since 2023 and grew up in Lake Zurich Illinois, which is a suburb of Chicago. He has a BFA in graphic design from Columbia College Chicago and was a founding member of his high school's recycling program. Matt now serves as the Secretary for The Namaste Solar Foundation as well as working as a Sales and Design Specialist in Colorado's solar industry. He is devoted to creating a more sustainable and equitable world. In his spare time, Matt is either cooking up something good, snow boarding or playing D&D with his friends.
Carie Cave
Carie Cave serves as Board Secretary and is a seasoned technical expert with over 20 years of experience in specialty product and project management. She holds a Bachelor of Science in International Business with a minor in Marketing from Oklahoma State University.
Ms. Cave has been an integral part of the solar industry since 2015, currently serving as a Commercial Project Manager at Namaste Solar Electric, where she is also a candidate for co-ownership. Her extensive experience includes a significant tenure in the residential solar sector prior to her current role.
In addition to her current responsibilities, Ms. Cave has demonstrated her entrepreneurial acumen through the establishment of two sustainable, earth-focused startups. Her dedication to environmental sustainability and positive change drives her enthusiasm for her role as a board member of the Namaste Solar Foundation. Ms. Cave is committed to leveraging her expertise to advance the foundation’s mission and make a meaningful impact.
Bruce Cooper
Bruce Cooper has served on the board since 2024 and likes to think of himself as a detail-oriented, ethically driven professional with a diverse background spanning solar energy, electrical engineering, culinary arts, and sustainable innovation. With a certification from NABCEP, Bruce plays a key role in the solar industry, focusing on workflow efficiency, training, and job availability across residential, commercial, operations, and maintenance sectors. He’s passionate about developing systems that integrate clean energy and home automation—particularly bidirectional EV charging solutions for off-grid living. His interest in affordable, sustainable land in Colorado underscores his long-term commitment to energy independence and responsible innovation.
Outside of his professional pursuits, Bruce has a grounded and creative spirit, especially in the kitchen. He resides in Denver with his family.
